PASL105IVC Product Description
This driver control system utilizes three (3) proximity sensors placed inside a headrest for control of a power wheelchair. The sensors mounted inside the right and left wings control movement in those directions. The sensor mounted inside the back pad of the headrest controls movement in the forward or the forward/reverse direction. Veering is accomplished by activating the sensor in the back pad along with either the right or left wing sensor.

This alternative driver control is typically used with individuals with developmental disabilities (i.e. moderate/severe CP). This driving modality has been highly successful with individuals with Cerebral Palsy due to the 'no pressure' feature of proximity switches. Items Included

Hardware Options
An ASL913 swing away switch mount is available [add $ 486] to mount a ASL300 egg switch or the ASL204 proximity sensor in a spot pad for reset or mode change. Please specify the side to which you want the switch to swing. Also available is the ASL617 flip down headrest mounting hardware [add $ 198] for easier transportation on van/bus. Setup Tips
You have the no up charge choice of 3 sizes (Curved, Straight and mini). These individuals tend to have extreme high tone and could have cognitive issues or visual deficits. Fully evaluate and observe safe driving and proper seating.
